BY BUS
First buses 1 & 2 will take you to the University Campus with the Number 1 taking approximately 20 minutes whilst the number 2 takes a slightly longer route with 30 minutes travel time. Both buses are available at several bus stops along Union Street. Timetabling information can be found on the First bus website.
A student day ticket in Aberdeen will cost you £3.50. Aberdeen First buses will also take contactless payments and Apple pay. It is important to note the First buses in Aberdeen operate with a no-change policy, therefore it is important if you do not have Apple pay or a contactless card that you bring the exact coinage required for your journey to avoid overpaying.
BY TRAIN
The bus stops on Union Street are approximately 5 minutes walk from the Aberdeen train station on Guild Street. Coming out of the train station turn left onto Guild street, take a right up Bridge street. On the top of Bridge street at the 4-way junction turn right on Union street, the nearest bus stop is 10 metres past Primark.
BY Plane
The 737 stagecoach service runs every 30 minutes from the Aberdeen Airport in Dyce towards Aberdeen City centre terminating at the Bus station. As the bus interchange is adjacent to the train station follow the instructions outlined above to walk from the bus interchange to the nearest bus stop which takes you to the RGU Campus.
Single tickets are £3.40 and a period return which lasts for 28 days costs £5.
